Ingredients:
1 block tofu, drained
1/4 cup rice powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Dash of black pepper
2 tablespoons oil
1/4 cup water
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Mix rice powder, salt and pepper in a bowl.
3. Cut tofu into 1-inch cubes and toss in the mixture until coated.
4. Spread cubes on a baking sheet and drizzle with oil.
5. Bake for 25 minutes, or until slightly golden in color.
6. Serve with a simple vegetable stir-fry or your favorite sauce.
This dish is a great way to enjoy tofu if you’re not a fan of its texture. The rice powder helps to create a crispy exterior, while the inside remains soft and creamy. You can use any type of rice powder for this recipe, but I prefer using white or brown rice flour. If you can’t find rice powder, you can also use cornstarch or potato starch.
When it comes to serving, this dish is pretty versatile. I like to serve it with a simple vegetable stir-fry, but you could also enjoy it with your favorite sauce. If you’re looking for a complete meal, you could add some steamed rice or quinoa to your plate
