Recipe to make the holly berry scent

Holly berries have a unique, holiday scent that can make any home feel more festive. If you’d like to try making your own holly berry scent, here’s a recipe to follow.

You’ll need:

1 cup of holly berries
1 cup of boiling water
4 ounces of beeswax
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of nutmeg

Instructions:

Place the holly berries in a heat-safe bowl.
Pour the boiling water over the berries, and let them steep for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, strain the berries and reserve the liquid.
Melt the beeswax in a double boiler, and stir in the reserved berry liquid.
Once everything is combined, remove from heat and stir in the cinnamon and nutmeg.
Pour the mixture into a clean glass jar, and allow it to cool and solidify.

You can use this holly berry scent in a few different ways. For example, you can dab it on your pulse points as a perfume, or burn it in a diffuser to enjoy the fragrance throughout your home
