Recipe to make rice without using tomato sauce and any broth or bouillon cubes

Are you in the mood for rice, but don’t have any tomato sauce or broth? Or maybe you’re out of bouillon cubes? No problem! This recipe will show you how to make delicious rice without using any of those ingredients. All you need is rice, water, salt, and butter (optional).
Instructions:
1. Rinse the rice in a fine mesh strainer under cold water to remove any excess starch. rinse several times or until the water runs clear.
2. In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the rinsed rice and salt.
3. Bring to a low boil, then reduce the heat to low and put a lid on the saucepan.
4. Cook for 18 minutes, or until the rice is tender and cooked through. Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes.
5. Fluff with a fork, then serve. You can optionally add some butter on top.
