Here’s what you’ll need to make giant chocolate chip cookies:
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add to butter mixture, mixing until just blended.
Stir in chocolate chips.
For each cookie, drop 1/4 cup batter onto prepared baking sheet. (You should end up with 16 cookies.)
