Recipe to make chocolate lasagne
Last Updated on
Chocolate lasagna is a decadent and rich dessert that is perfect for any chocolate lover. This dish is made with layers of chocolate, including a chocolate crust, chocolate filling, and chocolate topping.
You can use any type of chocolate that you like for this recipe. I like to use dark chocolate for the crust and milk chocolate for the filling and topping. You can also use semi-sweet chocolate, or a combination of all three.
To make the crust, you will need:
1 1/2 cups of crushed chocolate cookies
1/4 cup of melted butter
To make the filling, you will need:
2 cups of milk
1 cup of heavy cream
1/2 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of cornstarch
1/3 cup of cocoa powder
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
6 ounces of melted chocolate
To make the topping, you will need:
1 cup of heavy cream
1/2 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
3 ounces of melted chocolate
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
To make the crust: Combine the crushed cookies and butter, and press into the bottom and up the sides of a 9×13 inch baking pan.
To make the filling: Combine the milk, cream, sugar, cornstarch, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and melted chocolate in a saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and boils.
Pour the filling over the crust, and spread into an even layer.
To make the topping: Combine the cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and melted chocolate in a bowl, and beat with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Spread over the top of the lasagna.
Bake for 25 minutes, or until the topping is firm.
Let cool before serving
