What could be more fun than squishing two different kinds of cookie dough together to make one delicious cookie? This recipe for chocolate and vanilla swirl cookies is perfect for anyone who loves a good Martha Stewart moment. Tip: if you’re feeling extra ambitious, try adding a third flavor of dough to the mix!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg and vanilla until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop dough onto the baking sheet, making sure to squish the chocolate and vanilla doughs together as you go. You should have about 12 cookies.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly golden brown and set. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely
