To make this recipe, you will need:
1 chicken breast, bone-in
1 can of diced tomatoes
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
1/2 cup of water
To make the sauce, start by heating the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and cook until softened. Add the diced tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for about 10 minutes.
To cook the chicken, add the chicken breast to the sauce and cook for about 30 minutes, or until cooked through. Be sure to spoon some of the sauce over the chicken while it cooks to keep it moist.
