I’ve never been very clear about what are the delights of Chinese restaurants, because not in all Chinese what accompanies the noodles three delights is the same, in fact, I’ve even seen in some a version that they call noodles thousand delights, which is something like “throw in the wok everything you find in the fridge”, because the recipe lends itself to that, to take advantage of as many Vegetable Recipes and protein is dancing around the fridge. Read on to see how we made ours.
Ingredients
Spring onion, 1 Zucchini, a piece of about 10 cm Egg, 1 Shrimp without skin, 150 g Soy sauce, 2 tablespoons Ketchup, 1 tablespoon Sesame oil, 1 tablespoon Sunflower oil, 1 tablespoon Tagliatelle, 75 g Salt
Step 1
In a frying pan or wok we heat the sunflower oil. When it is hot sauté the shrimp with a pinch of salt, just enough to take color.
Step 2
In a pot we put to boil water in which we will cook the noodles following the instructions on the package.
Step 3
In the same wok and in the same oil that we have sautéed the prawns, we sauté the spring onion and zucchini cut into thin strips.
When they are lightly browned, add the beaten egg in a trickle while stirring so that the egg curdles while we break it into small pieces.
Add the sesame oil, soy sauce and ketchup, mix well.
Step 4
Finally add the cooked noodles and the reserved shrimp. Sauté everything together and serve immediately.
Notes
A spring onion, a piece of zucchini, some peas, a piece of tofu, some slices of bacon or cooked ham, a steak, some leftover roast or pulled pork, some prawns, an egg, some bean sprouts, a carrot, …. are just a few examples of possible delicacies that are waiting in the fridge for us to get down to work with some tres delicias noodles.
