Recipe for the garlic parmesan cheese marinade that Whole Foods put on their chicken. This recipe is easy to follow and only requires a few ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen. The garlic parmesan cheese marinade is perfect for chicken, fish, or vegetables. It is also great as a dipping sauce. I like to use it on grilled chicken or fish. You can also use it on roasted vegetables.
To make the garlic parmesan cheese marinade, you will need:
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
In a small bowl, whisk together Parmesan cheese, olive oil, garlic, basil, and black pepper.
Marinate chicken, fish, or vegetables in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
Grill, bake, or broil chicken, fish, or vegetables as desired.
Tips:
If you are using this marinade on chicken, I recommend using boneless, skinless chicken breasts. You could also use chicken thighs.
This marinade would be great on any type of fish. I like to use it on salmon or tilapia.
For vegetables, my favorites to use this marinade on are zucchini, yellow squash, and red peppers.
If you are using this as a dipping sauce, I recommend serving it with grilled chicken or fish
