Recipe for the battered bacon rings from the all bacon meal

Up your bacon game with this recipe for battered bacon rings. This dish is perfect for an all-bacon meal, or as an impressive side dish.

To make the batter, you’ll need:

1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup milk
1 egg

To make the bacon rings, you’ll need:

8 slices of bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions:

    In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and egg.
    Dip the bacon pieces in the batter, then Place them on a wire rack set over a baking sheet.
    Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the bacon and cook until crisp and golden brown, about 4 minutes per side.
    .Remove the bacon from the skillet with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve immediately.

These battered bacon rings are best enjoyed fresh out of the skillet. But if you’re looking to save some time, you can make the batter ahead of time and fry the bacon just before serving
