Recipe for seven layers pork buns

Ingredients:
1.5 lb ground pork
1/2 onion, minced
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
2 tsp five-spice powder
1/4 cup Shaoxing wine
1/4 cup light soy sauce
2 tbsp sugar
18 square inch sheets of frozen puff pastry, thawed
Egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tbsp water)
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, mix together ground pork, onion, hoisin sauce, five-spice powder, Shaoxing wine, light soy sauce, and sugar.
2. Lay out one sheet of puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Roll out to an 18-inch square. Cut into nine 3-inch squares.
3. Place 1 tablespoon of filling in the center of each square. Brush the edges of the pastry with egg wash.
4. Fold the pastry over the filling to form a triangle, and press the edges to seal.
5. Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with egg wash.
6. Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
