This recipe for mashed squash is so simple and doesn’t require any baking or using a blender! All you need are a few simple ingredients and you can have this delicious and healthy dish in no time.
To make this dish, you will need:
1 squash
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
1-2 cloves of garlic, minced (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Cut the squash in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
Place the squash halves cut side down on a baking sheet.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until the squash is tender.
Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes.
Scoop out the cooked squash from the skin and place it in a bowl.
Add the olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic (if using) and mash with a fork or potato masher until desired consistency is reached.
