Recipe for making the Imperial Spiced Chai

Ingredients:
1 quart of milk
1 cup of water
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon of ground cardamom
1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon of white pepper
4 black tea bags
Instructions:
In a small saucepan, bring the milk and water to a simmer over medium heat. Add the sugar and stir until dissolved. Stir in the vanilla extract. Add the cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, ginger, and pepper, and simmer for 1 minute. Remove from the heat and add the tea bags. Allow to steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and serve.
