Recipe for making hamburger with chili topped with cornbread
When it comes to All-American comfort food, it doesn’t get much better than a big, juicy burger loaded with chili and topped with golden, crispy cornbread. Here’s what you’ll need:
1 pound ground beef
1 can chili
1 batch cornbread (see recipe below)
Shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
Form ground beef into 4 patties.
Grill burgers for about 5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
Place burgers on a plate and top with chili.
Top with a square of cornbread and shredded cheese, if desired.
Serve immediately.

Ingredients:
