Recipe for mac and cheese with ranch dressing Asiago cheese and other cheeses cooked in the crock pot
This dish is so easy to make and only requires a few ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen. Crock pot mac and cheese is the perfect dish to make for a large group because it can easily be doubled or tripled. It’s also great for potlucks and parties because it can be made ahead of time and kept warm in the crock pot.
I like to use a mix of Asiago, Parmesan and cheddar cheese in my mac and cheese, but you can really use any variety of cheese that you like. I also like to add some ranch dressing to my mac and cheese for an extra bit of flavor. If you’re not a fan of ranch, you could also use BBQ sauce, hot sauce or any other type of sauce that you like.
Here’s what you’ll need to make Crockpot Mac and Cheese:
1 pound of pasta
4 cups of shredded cheese
1 cup of milk
1/2 cup of ranch dressing
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
Instructions:
Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
In a large bowl, mix together the cooked pasta, shredded cheese, milk, ranch dressing and black pepper.
Pour the mixture into the crock pot and cook on low for 3-4 hours, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Stir occasionally.
Serve hot and enjoy!
