And you’ll also need:
1 cup chopped nuts (we used walnuts)
this is an ingredient
To make the dough, start by heating the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat. You’ll want it to be just warm to the touch, not hot. Add the sugar and yeast, and stir until combined. Let the mixture sit for about 5 minutes, or until it begins to foam.
Then, add the melted butter, salt and eggs, and mix well. Add the flour, 1/3 cup at a time, and mix until everything is well combined. The dough should be slightly sticky, but not too wet. Allow it to rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
Once the dough has doubled in size, turn it out onto a floured surface and roll it into a 12×18-inch rectangle. Spread the nuts evenly over the dough, then roll it up from the long side. Cut into 12 rolls and place on a greased baking sheet. Allow them to rise for another 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, make the frosting by beating the butter, sugar and vanilla together until light and fluffy. Add the milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the desired consistency is reached.
When the rolls are ready, bake them at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before frosting
