Recipe for adding astragalus extract in cold process soap or bath oil

If you’re looking for a way to add a bit of extra boost to your soap or bath oil, consider astragalus extract. Astragalus is an herbal root that has been used in Chinese medicine for centuries. It’s known for its immune-boosting properties, and is also said to help with respiratory problems, fatigue, and anxiety.

Adding astragalus extract to soap or bath oil is easy. Simply add it to the oil phase of your recipe, or to the water phase if you’re using a hot process soap recipe. For bath oil, simply add a few drops to your favorite carrier oil. Use about 1 teaspoon of extract for every pound of oil or soap.

You can use astragalus soap or bath oil anywhere you would normally use soap or bath oil. Be sure to patch test before using if you have sensitive skin. And if you’re pregnant or nursing, check with your healthcare provider before using astragalus.

Note that astragalus extract can cause discoloration in soap, so if you’re going for a light colored bar, you may want to use another form of colorant
