1 Quinoa (Chilean merlot) is used as a cereal crop, although it is not a “pure” cereal crop in the true sense of the word. It is sometimes called a superfood, like chia or hemp seeds, young barley, etc., but I think that a healthy diet is a much better food for these foods. For example, quinoa flour is great for people with coeliac disease because it is gluten-free.2 It is very easy to prepare and who doesn’t like it as a main course – in salads with Vegetable Recipes, chicken, salmon, savoury or sweet porridge… and you want to introduce something “healthier” into your body, you can use vegetable soups instead of flour and vinaigrette, broths instead of pasta, primroses… 3 First, put the quinoa in a bowl and leave it in cold water for about 5-10 minutes to remove the bitterness. 4 Then rinse the water, add clean cold water with salt and herbs (rosemary, thyme, marjoram…) or vegetable, chicken or smoked meat stock for taste… 5 The ratio of quinoa to water (broth) is 1 : 2, so put the right amount of quinoa in the cup and double the liquid. 6 Bring to the boil and simmer for about 15 minutes, then remove from the heat and leave covered for another 5-10 minutes.
