Quick Pea Soup with Ham

Cream soup made from peas, chicken broth, onion and other ingredients.

Ingredients:

400 g of potatoes 200 g ham off the bone 200 g frozen peas 1 tbsp olive oil + for drizzling 2 pcs garlic cloves 1 pcs onions 1 l chicken broth crushed pepper salt

Procedure:

1. Heat the oil in a large pot, reduce the flame to medium, add the peeled finely chopped onion, peeled crushed garlic cloves and fry for 3 minutes, stirring constantly
2. Then add peeled, diced potatoes, diced ham and stir for another 5 minutes
3. Pour in the chicken stock, bring to the boil covered, then reduce the heat and let it bubble gently for 15-20 minutes to soften the potatoes, add the peas for the last 5 minutes
4. Mix everything, season with salt and serve drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with crushed pepper.
