The easiest börek I know. It’s fantastically tasty, quick and really anyone can make it Make your family an amazing börek from store-bought strudel dough in just a few minutes You’ve never made börek this way before!

1.

First, mix our topping with yogurt, milk, egg, oil and salt. You can use cheese to taste, I used Turkish cheese. But feel free to put feta, or Danish or Greek cheese, or cow lump Finally, grind the cheese.

2.

In the pan in which we will bake the börek, we put baking paper on the bottom, which we brush a little bit with butter. Place 2 of the strudel pastry sheets on top and then crumble half of the other sheets piece by piece with your hands, dip them in the topping and place them evenly in the pan. Finally, sprinkle the cheese all over and place a couple of slices of butter on top. Finally, cover it with the remaining dough, which in turn is crumpled and dipped in the vinaigrette Keep 2-3 sheets of dough on top to close/cover the börek. For a better idea of the preparation, watch my video

3.

Finally, close the börek quite simply by laying the sheets on top with the edges curved inwards. Pour the remaining topping over the top, cover with a lid and bake over a medium to low flame for about 15 minutes

4.

After some time, turn the börek over by tipping it out onto a plate with baking paper, which you then use to slide it back into the pan to bake the other side as well Take the paper off, place a few pieces of butter on the börek, cover with the blanket and bake the börek again for approx.15 minutes.

Börek is fantastically tasty, very simple and quick to prepare☺️ Don’t hesitate, it’s really great. It uses a pretty classic strudel dough from the store, so it’s really no problem to prepare this börek anytime and anywhere, as you can buy the dough everywhere☺️ You can also change the fillings according to your taste, the börek will always be fantastic!!!
