Quick apple pie

300 g plain flour 1 pk egg 80 g butter 4 tbsp milk 1 kg apples grated 2 tbsp granulated sugar / brown sugar 1 packet cinnamon sugar powdered sugar for decorating

We used to pick apples in our garden, eat them, take them for snacks. They lasted until February if they weren’t eaten. But my mother used them to bake fantastic strudels and pies.

Mix flour with baking powder, add egg, milk, powdered sugar, mix. Divide the dough in half.

Roll out one half, transfer to a baking sheet, layer apples, sprinkle with cinnamon or sugar if apples are more acidic,

Roll out the other half of the dough, transfer to the apples, bake at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes.
4.
After baking, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
