Then öffind your eyes and let our recipe take you away to a fruity and creamy brownieland!
For this you need:
For the brownie:
6 eggs 130 g sugar 130 g brown sugar 120 g melted dark chocolate 80 g dark chocolate chopped small, for folding 250 g liquid butter 140 g flour 100 g baking cocoa 1 tsp baking powder
For the fresh cream:
500 g fresh cheese Grated lime Mark of a vanilla bean 50 g powdered sugar 500 ml cream optional: 6-8 sheets of gelatin
In addition:
1 small watermelon, halved and geschält approx. 1 kg strawberries Mikado chocolate tart 250 ml ready strawberry so;e or pürierte strawberries grated chocolate, strawberries and mint leaves to decorate
So it goes:
1. Mix the specified ingredients for the brownie together to a smooth dough; sift flour, cocoa and baking powder to make the dough schön fluffy. Then bake the giant brownie in a greased springform pan for 25 minutes at 175 °C top/bottom heat, so that the dough is still a little soft, but no longer zähflüssig.
Let the brownie then cool; then place the halved melon on its center.
2. With the help of small broken Mikado chocolate pieces, stick as many strawberries into the melon until the latter is no longer visible.
3. Mix the ingredients for the fresh cream together.
Tip: Work gelatin into the cream to increase its firmness. Soak the gelatin sheets one after the other for about 5 minutes in water. Squeeze out the gelatine and heat it slowly, stirring constantly, so that it becomes liquid; be careful not to boil the gelatine, otherwise it will lose its gelling power. To prevent lumps from forming, first stir only 1-2 tablespoons of the cold cream into the gelatin. Then stir this gelatin mixture into the cream.
&Uml;e pour strawberry sauce over the strawberries and then pour the bowl of fresh cream over them until all the strawberries are covered. Then put the whole thing in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
4. Carefully remove the bowl; if it doesn’t release easily, wait a moment or heat it briefly with a frying pan.
Decorate this fruity, creamy brownie with chocolate shavings, strawberries and mint leaves. From the outside, the treat already makes a lot, but its prächtige Füllung reveals itself only when cutting.
Wow, is this still a brownie topped with strawberries and melon or is this creation already to be called a cake? The answer is actually unimportant, because whatever name this treat gets, it only matters that it tastes good: and it does!
Watermelon and brownie – that both harmonize with each other, the above recipe has proven; reason enough to also try this watermelon cake, which even looks like a melon in the end.
