Pupacakes (toasted)

ingredients

1/2 kg plain flour 20 g yeast a little salt to taste milk 20 g sugar 80 g poppy 50 g honey 60 g powdered sugar 80 g butter

procedure

1. Add the yeast mixed with sugar, lukewarm milk, salt to the flour and make a thinner dough. 2. Let it rise in a warm place. On a floured board, roll the risen dough into finger-thick pieces and cut them into pieces about 2 cm thick. 3. Place the cut pieces cut side down on a greased baking sheet and bake. 4. Brush with boiling water, drizzle with butter and honey and sprinkle with ground poppy seeds and sugar.
