Pumpkin pasta with bacon
Last Updated on
The pumpkin pasta is a surprisingly good alternative to the original flour pasta. The high-carbohydrate, healthy pasta should be balanced with a sprinkling of bacon.
Ingredients for four
1 kg of pumpkin 100g of bacon 50g of Parmesan 1 tbsp of cream 1 handful of basil salt and pepper
Place a saucepan over a fire and half the water. Slice the bacon and fry in a frying pan until crisp.
Peel the pumpkin and chop the cheese into very thin slices. The pumpkin slices can be cut with a knife into spaghetti shapes. Or if you have a pasta machine with a spaghetti titer, you can make your own spaghetti.
Boil the pumpkin pasta quickly, 3-4 minutes in briny water.
Scoop into the pan with the bacon. Stir in 1 can of cream of tartar sauce. Season well with pepper and chopped basil.
Pile the casäpumpkin paste on plates in a beautiful bow. Top the dish with shavings of parmesan cheese and garnish with basil leaves.
