Pudding chocolate-poppy seed cake

ingredients

4 pk egg 4 tbsp honey 2 packets chocolate pudding 40 g poppy seeds 1 packet baking powder 200 g cherries (compote) 1 pinch of salt 150 ml cherry liqueur jam

Beat the eggs with honey and a pinch of salt until frothy

Mix pudding powder with baking powder and add to beaten eggs.

Finally add the ground poppy seeds, mix and pour into a baking tin lined with baking paper (diameter of the tin is 18 cm).

Bake at 180 degrees for 50-55 minutes. To tell if the cake is baked, poke a toothpick into the centre of the cake. It should remain clean when pulled out.

While the cake is still warm, pour the cherry liqueur over the cake (don’t skimp because the cake is tall and drier due to the poppy seeds).

Place the pitted cherries on top and drizzle the chocolate glaze over the top, which you make by melting the chocolate and butter over steam.

Let cool and serve. Enjoy!
