Prunes stewed in wine

An interesting side dish suitable especially for roasted poultry meat.

Ingredients:

1 kg of prunes 1 dcl of red wine, preferably Franconian 1/2 pcs of lemon powdered sugar piece of whole cinnamon cloves

Procedure:

1. Wash the prunes, acidify with lemon juice, season with cinnamon and cloves
2. Pour in red wine and simmer under a lid for 15-20 minutes
3. Serve the stewed prunes warm or even cold.
