Our Christmas cake this year is a very special creation: served on a colorful platter of peppermint candies, filled with moist brownie cake and covered in soft fresh cream, this beautiful Christmas cake is a true feast for the senses!

For the brownie cakes:
6 egg whites; 240 g sugar 180 g flour, type 405 70 g cocoa powder 110 ml vegetableöl 120 ml milk Baking pan, diameter: 18 cm
For the candy plate:

For the fresh cream:

For the green chocolate sauce:

How it works:
1. For the candy plate, place the peppermint candies in a circle in the springform pan and then let them melt for 15 minutes at 150 °C top/bottom heat. Let the candy plate then for 2 hours to cool and harden.

4. Are the three main components of the Christmas cake prepared, it goes to the assembly. Löse the candy slab from the mold. Cut the brownie cake in half horizontally and place one half in the center of the candy plate. Pour the cream into a piping bag and spread some of it on the brownie cake. Then crush the peppermint candies for the filling and sprinkle them on top of the cream.
5. Now put the other brownie cake half on top and cover the entire Christmas cake with fresh cream.
6. Heat the cream for each chocolate sauce in a saucepan, then add the chocolate and food coloring. The chocolate soufflés should cool for a few minutes before pouring over the Christmas cake.
7. Place the bottom of a PET bottle in the center of the Christmas cake and press with a wooden cube at even intervals.auml;nden five grooves in the fresh cream – always between the „Höckern“ of the bottle bottom.
8. Now pour the green chocolate sauce slowly over the bottom of the PET bottle, so that the grooves are filled with the sauce.
9. Then use the wooden cube to press five more grooves into the fresh cream between the existing (green) grooves. Turn the bottom of the PET bottle accordingly and pour the red chocolate sauce over it.
10. Remove the bottom of the PET bottle. Pour the fresh cream into a piping bag with a star-shaped tip, form several cups on the cake and decorate it with peppermint candies.
The red and green peppermint candies give the otherwise rather plain Christmas cake the right colorful festive ambience and a touch of peppermint. The great thing about this cake is that it is also perfect for other occasions, because brownie cake and fresh cream always go well; only the peppermint candies need to be changed.
