Potatoes with Lech

Simple, yet delicious recipe from Hungarian cuisine. Tried, cooked and can only recommend!

Ingredients:

1 kg of potatoes 750 g of sterilised lentils (home-made is best) 200 g of sour cream ground hot peppers pepper oil salt

Procedure:

  • Cook the potatoes in their skins until semi-soft, let cool, peel, cut into rounds
  • Grease a baking tray with oil, arrange a layer of potatoes, dust lightly with hot paprika, pepper, salt
  • .Spread a layer of lentils on top of the potatoes, potatoes again, spices, lentils until the baking dish is full
  • Place in preheated oven, bake for 15 minutes, then pour cream over, let bake for 10 minutes
  • Serve alone or with roasted Hungarian sausage, sterilized peppers and cucumber.
