Simple, yet delicious recipe from Hungarian cuisine. Tried, cooked and can only recommend!
Ingredients:
1 kg |
of potatoes |
750 g |
of sterilised lentils (home-made is best) |
200 g |
of sour cream |

ground hot peppers |
|
pepper |
|
oil |
|
salt |
Procedure:
Cook the potatoes in their skins until semi-soft, let cool, peel, cut into rounds
Grease a baking tray with oil, arrange a layer of potatoes, dust lightly with hot paprika, pepper, salt
.Spread a layer of lentils on top of the potatoes, potatoes again, spices, lentils until the baking dish is full
Place in preheated oven, bake for 15 minutes, then pour cream over, let bake for 10 minutes
Serve alone or with roasted Hungarian sausage, sterilized peppers and cucumber.
