Potatoes baked with minced meat

10 pcs medium potatoes 2 tbsp oil 1 pcs large onion 500 g ground beef 3 cloves garlic 300 g frozen peas and carrots (mixture) 500 g passé tomatoes 200 g g grated cheese (eidam, gouda, cheddar, …) salt, ground black pepper, oregano

Potato wedges interspersed with meat stuffing with peas, carrots and grated cheese.

Peel the potatoes, cut into rounds, cover with water, salt and boil until semi-soft (about 10 minutes).

Heat the oil in a large frying pan, add the chopped onion and sauté for about 3 minutes. Then add the minced meat, season with salt and pepper and fry until it is tender.

Add the frozen Vegetable Recipes to the meat and sauté together for about 5 minutes. Finally, pour the passiré tomatoes over everything and season with oregano and chopped garlic. Set aside.

Heat the oven to 180°C.

Then layer the potato rounds, meat filling and grated cheese in a baking dish (greased with oil). In my case, with a square dish (30×30 cm), 3 layers of potatoes came out.

Sprinkle the top with the rest of the cheese and place in the oven to bake for about 50 minutes.
