Potato pancakes with bear garlic recipe

Ingredients

3 servings 500 g peeled potatoes 150 g coarse meal salt ground cumin nutmeg or mace ground pepper 40 g bear garlic salt , oil or my baking salt

Procedure for preparing the recipe

1 Cover the peeled potatoes with water to a level just above the potatoes, add salt and cumin, bring to the boil and cook over low heat until tender.

TIP: How to peel the potatoes

2 Do not peel the potatoes and just mash them coarsely. Then sprinkle them with coarse flour, finely chopped bear garlic, a pinch of nutmeg, pepper and salt to taste and mix everything together.

3 Using wet or greased hands, shape the prepared potato mixture into pancakes and fry them in a preheated frying pan with fat until golden on both sides.
