Potato Herb Dumpling

Monkeys made from cubes of one or two day old buns (rolls), egg yolk, a handful of chopped parsley, coarse flour, baking powder and milk.

Ingredients:

300 g of coarse flour 100 g of one- to two-day-old buns (rolls) ./td> 1 handful of fresh parsley leaves 1/3 bag of liquid baking powder about 200 ml of milk

1 pk egg yolk coarse flour to roll out salt

Procedure:

1. Cut the day or two old buns (rolls) into smaller cubes, let them dry at room temperature, or you can put them in the oven heated to the lowest possible temperature for a while
2. Mix the flour with baking powder, add the egg yolk, milk, chopped parsley and salt, make a thin batter, then mix in the pastry cubes, let rest for 15-20 minutes
3. Stir the dough again, transfer it to a floured roll and form two rolls with wet hands
4. Cook the dumplings in slightly salted water until tender, cook for about 20 minutes, after removing them immediately, while still hot, cut them.
