  • Recommendation:

Doctors usually recommend that people who have been diagnosed with celiac disease should not consume any oats, even the gluten-free version, for six months to a year. If a stable celiac decides to include gluten-free oats in the diet, it should be done under the supervision of a doctor who will monitor the immune system’s response through regular blood draws. If the tests are normal, then certified gluten-free oats are a good choice for diversifying the diet.
