Last Updated on
Combine
4 servings 4 slices of pork: neck, rump, shoulder (can be bone-in) 2 onions 5 cloves garlic to taste, about 4 – chopped herbs to taste (can be dried) – rosemary, thyme, marjoram… salt ground pepper 300 g fresh mushrooms about 300 g peeled potatoes for 4 persons 300 ml cream or red wine or broth about 300 ml cream or red wine or broth
Procedure for preparing the recipe
1 In an oiled or salted baking dish, place the coarsely chopped onion, the chopped garlic (half) and some herbs. Place on top the slices or cubes of salted and peppered meat, and season them again with a little herb and the remaining garlic. Sprinkle the meat with coarsely chopped mushrooms (of course, slices are fine), place the potatoes on top (larger ones, cut into halves or quarters), pour over the cream, salt lightly, cover and bake in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for about 50 minutes, if necessary, we can do a stir-fry, then uncover and bake until coloured for a further 10 to 15 minutes uncovered. 2 For those who don’t need cream, pour in broth or red wine. 3 Serve with cucumber salad.
