Pork tongues on the wild

Tried and tested recipe from an old cookbook for the preparation of cooked pork tongues. Serve the tongues with rice or bread dumplings.

Ingredients:

2-3 pcs pork tongues 2 pcs garlic cloves 1 pcs larger carrots 1 pc bean leaf 1/4 pc celery 4 pcs spice balls 4 pcs whole peppercorns smooth flour thyme fat water pepper salt

Procedure:

Cover pork tongues with water, add allspice, whole pepper, bay leaf, salt, cook until tender about 2 hours. Put the cooked tongues in cold water and let cool.

Cut off the tongues (use for soup) peel the tongues and cut into rounds.

Fry the onion, bacon cubes, add chopped carrots and celery in lard. Pour in the broth from the tongues, add thyme, cook until the Vegetable Recipes soften.

Place the chopped tongues in the sauce, dust with flour, season with grated garlic, salt, pepper, boil briefly.

Recommendation:

Serve with rice or dumplings.
