Pork sausages with stewed cherries

Pork sausages twisted into spirals and then fried, served with stewed cherries.

Ingredients:

800 g of raw pork sausages olive oil Stewed cherries: 1 teaspoon ground pepper 2 tbsp honey 1 tbsp whole grain mustard 900 g of cherry 2.5 dl red wine 0.5 dl olive oil 1 pk small onion pinch of ground cloves pinch of ground ginger sugar as needed pinch of salt

Procedure:

1. Rinse the cherries, drain and place in a bowl
2. Peeled, finely chopped onions, let them brown in a saucepan in heated oil, stir in the wine and honey and boil to about a third of the original amount
3. Add the cherries, mustard, ground pepper, a pinch of ground ginger and ground cloves, salt, sweeten (according to the ripeness of the cherries), mix well and continue to simmer under the lid until thickened
4. In the meantime, roll the sausages into a circle, stick them together with a skewer, fry them on both sides in hot oil, transfer them to a baking tray and put them in an oven heated to 130 °C for about 15 minutes
