Poppy seed panna cotta

A light dessert that is just sweet enough to eat while sipping a summer drink. If you garnish it with fresh fruit, no one will guess that it only took a few minutes to prepare.

Ingredients:

Range for 3 servings: 250 ml whipping cream 250 ml of whole milk 3 large spoons ground poppy 1 tbsp honey

4 pieces of gelatin

Procedure:

  • Soak the gelatin wafers in cold water and allow to swell.
  • In a saucepan, mix cream, milk, honey. Heat over medium heat (be careful not to boil the mixture!).
  • Add the ground poppy seeds and gelatin to the heated mixture, stir and carefully pour into glasses or party cups.
  • Let the cooked panna cotta set in the fridge.
  • Recommendation:

    Panna cotta will be served with fresh seasonal fruits, which will complement the poppy seeds perfectly. In addition to your favorite fruits, you can also use caramel or whole blue poppy seeds for garnish.
