Poppy seed cake with apples

4 pk egg 140 g Hera / butter 180 g powdered sugar 2 pk vanilla sugar 3 KL baking powder 100 ml milk 200 g semi-coarse flour 80 g ground poppy 500 g apple

Simple but delicate. Yummy!

Mix the egg yolks, softened ghee and icing sugar. Add 2 vanilla sugars and alternate flour mixed with baking powder and milk. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the batter.

Divide the dough into 2 parts. Stir the ground poppy seeds into one half. Clean the apples and cut them into small cubes.

Grease and flour a smaller /23×37/ baking pan. Spread the poppy part of the dough on it. Place the diced apples and spread the other part of the dough. Bake at 180°C for 20 minutes. Leave to cool. Sprinkle with icing sugar, cut into cubes and serve.
