Poppy seed cake for all spouses on a diet

ingredients

4 pcs egg yolks 300 g ground poppy 1/2 packet baking powder 120 g baking powder 120 g honey 100 g white yoghurt 100 g melted butter 4 pcs egg whites (4 egg whites) sour cherries edible gelatin (powder)

My husband has been on a diet since the New Year, but he’s been craving sweet-good sweet. So I used tried-and-true recipes and combined them into a healthier, sugar- and flour-free version.

Make a dough with 4 egg yolks, ground poppy seeds, baking powder, honey, yogurt and butter. Gently fold in the beaten egg whites.

Pour into the cake tin and bake. Bake at 180°C for about 25 minutes. Let cool.

3.

From the cherries and gelatine, prepare the jelly for the top of the cake and refrigerate to set.
