Poppy apples

Classic oven apples are easy to make. Use oatmeal for flavour and custard for sweetness. An easy recipe.

Ingredients for 4

4 apples 1 dl custard Apple sauce 1 tbsp butter 3 tbsp oat flakes 1 tbsp syrup 1/2 tsp cinnamon Place the ingredients in a small saucepan and whisk until smooth. Rinse the apples thoroughly (do not peel them) and remove the skin. If you don’t have apple powder, you can use a paring knife. Spoon the tea into the apples. Bake the baked apples in a 200C oven for about 35-40 minutes so that they soften well. Drizzle the apples with the baking liquid that accumulates in the dish at least once during baking. After baking, allow the baked apples to cool for 15 minutes. Serve them with custard. World of apple
