Polenta on the grill
ingredients
375 g polenta 1,8 liters vegetable broth 125 ml red wine 1 pk onion 2 cloves garlic 1 pk chili pepper to taste salt, ground black pepper a little oil
procedure
1. In a deep pot put 300 ml broth and red wine. Add the finely chopped onion, chilli and crushed garlic. Bring the mixture to the boil and boil rapidly for 5 minutes. Then simmer it until the remaining liquid evaporates. 2. Pour in the remaining hot stock, salt, pepper and bring the mixture to the boil again. Add the polenta in a steady stream, stir, and when it comes to a boil, cook for 5 minutes. When the polenta is smooth, set it aside and let it cool slightly. 3. Spread the polenta on a baking sheet and, when it has set, cut it into smaller pieces. Brush with oil and grill on both sides.
