Traditional old Czech Christmas dish. Buckwheat boiled in water and milk, buttered, flavoured with honey or sugar, sprinkled with grated gingerbread when serving.

Procedure:
1. Pour a small amount of lightly salted water over the buckwheat, bring to a boil
2. Pour in milk and boil until tender
3. Brush with butter, drizzle with honey or sprinkle with sugar and season with grated gingerbread.
