Plum

Southern Moravia soup made from plums and other ingredients.

Ingredients:

35 pcs fully ripe plums 0.5 l of water 60 g of crushed white biscuit or hard, fine breadcrumbs a piece of whole cinnamon several cloves good white table wine sugar butter bun bites

Procedure:

1. Stew about 35 pieces of fully ripe plums over a moderate heat in a saucepan in half a litre of water with a piece of whole cinnamon, a few cloves and 60 g of either pounded white biscuit or hard, fine breadcrumbs
2. Then pour in a good white table wine (either 1 litre of wine or 0.5 litres of wine and 0.5 litres of water) and strain through a sieve or thick colander
3. To the finished soup, serve buns fried in butter until golden brown.
