Plum-pear sauce

750 g pears peeled, pitted and cut into small pieces 750 g plums peeled, pitted and cut into small pieces 250 ml 100% orange juice 1 pk lemon 2 pk whole cinnamon 1 packet DrOetker vanillin sugar 1 packet Gelfix Super 31 DrOetker 350 g sugar
procedure
1. Place the pears and plums in a large saucepan. Add the juice, juice, cinnamon and vanillin sugar and stir. Mix the contents of the Gelfix Super packet with 2 tbsp sugar and add to the fruit. Boil thoroughly for about 1 minute, stirring constantly. 2. Add the rest of the sugar and bring to the boil. Boil thoroughly for at least 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Drizzle 1-2 KL of the just boiled sauce onto a plate. If it is not thick enough when it cools, stir in 2 more aligned KL of Dr.Oetker citric acid. 3. Remove any foam and immediately fill the prepared jars to the brim. Close the lids, turn the jars upside down and leave to stand on the lid for about 5 minutes. 4. TIPS: Shelf life is about 6 months. Can be served in layers with cheesecake dessert.
