A classic that inherently belongs in our kitchens at the turn of summer and autumn.
1.
From boiled, mashed potatoes, a whole egg and flour, make a smooth dough.

Peel the plums and fill each with a little sugar and a pinch of cinnamon.
3.
Work the dough in your hands to form pancakes, wrapping the whole plums in the dough and forming balls.
4.
Then drop these into boiling water and cook for about 5 minutes after they float to the surface.

Serve with ground poppy seeds or breadcrumbs and melted butter. Or you can try a topping of sour cream, vanilla sugar and a pinch of cinnamon.
