Plantain Sauce

A warm sauce made with chicken broth, caramelized cane sugar, mango, papaya and other ingredients. Great sauce for steaks.

Ingredients:

1 cup chicken broth 1/2 cup 3 tablespoons brown cane sugar 1 pkmango 1 pc papaya olive oil rum salt

Procedure:

1. Brown the nuts with the sugar in hot olive oil, sauté for about 2 minutes
2. Add the diced mango and papaya
3. Stir everything together and pour in the warm chicken broth
4. Just before serving, drizzle the sauce with rum, stir and preferably serve immediately.
