4 pcs tea, fruit or Christmas mix 5 pcs cloves (whole) 5 pcs star anise 2 pcs whole cinnamon (smaller) 3/4 litre fruit red wine 1/2 litre rum (40%+) 3/4 litre water 1/2 pcs lemon 2 pcs orange 1/2 pcs apple 6 tbsp cane sugar

A little more alcoholic but still a great Christmas punch. 🙂

Place the water in a medium saucepan and bring to the boil. Once boiling, set aside, add the tea, sugar, cloves, star anise and cinnamon. Cover and leave to infuse for 15min. (Gourmets can add a pinch of chilli pepper or substitute fruit tea, chilli tea.)

After infusing, remove the tea, cloves, star anise and cinnamon. Add the wine, rum, juice of 1 orange and 1/2 lemon, and the sliced 1 orange and 1/2 apple. Let it boil but do not boil !

Let the punch infuse for about 20mins

Before serving, heat and garnish with a slice of lemon and cinnamon. Enjoy 🙂
