Pickled green chillies

Great side dish not only for Indian curry.
Ingredients:
td>ground turmeric
Procedure:
1. In a boiled jar, mix mustard seeds, Roman cumin, turmeric, crushed garlic, wine vinegar, sugar and salt
2. Let stand covered for 24 hours, so the spices leach out and the sugar and salt dissolve
3. Slowly fry the mixture in the heated mustard oil for about 5 minutes
4. Add the garlic cloves and fry for another 5 minutes
5. Add the fresh chilli and lightly fry until soft (but must not change colour), this will take, on a low heat, about 30 minutes, let cool
