Pardubice Beef Roast

Spiced beef hind, roasted on Vegetable Recipes until tender, served in slices, topped with sauce from the fat, seasoned with grated gingerbread, among other things.

Ingredients:

Rule for 4 servings: 600 g of beef butt 300 g of root Vegetable Recipes 150 g gingerbread 50 g butter or margarine 50 g of bacon 2 tbsp currant preserves 2 dl red wine 1 pc larger onion citron ground pepper water salt

Procedure:

1. Stuff the prepared beef butt whole with bacon, season the meat with salt and pepper
2. Slice the cleaned root Vegetable Recipes, fry them until golden brown, add the finely chopped onions and fry them together with the meat
3. Pour the wine over the roasted beef, add the lemon slices and bake, covered, in an oven preheated to 190-200 °C, until tender, basting the meat with hot water as needed during baking
4. Remove the baked meat, mix the stew, add the ground gingerbread, marmalade, water according to the density and season with salt, boil the sauce, but do not strain
5. Serve the slices of meat topped with hot sweet and sour sauce, as a side dish serve for example potato croquettes or bread dumplings.
