Panna cotta with oranges recipe

3 servings Panna Cotta 500 ml whipped cream 1 piece vanilla pod Orange peel (from one orange) 3 tsp ground gelatin (or plain gelatin 3- 4 slices) 100 g icing sugar Oranges in sugar solution 4 pcs Orange 4 oranges 300 g of crystal sugar 100 ml of water For decoration 1 sprig of mint ( 1-2 fresh mint leaves for decoration)
Recipe preparation procedure
1 Panna Cotta : 2 In a saucepan, put the cream, the contents of the vanilla pod, the sugar and bring to the boil. When these ingredients have combined and come to the boil, turn off the stove. Add 3 teaspoons of gelatine, stir and pour into bowls. Allow to cool and place warm in the fridge for approximately 3-4 hours. 3 Oranges in sugar liqueur : 4 Add 100 ml of water and 300 g of granulated sugar to a small saucepan, allow the sugar to dissolve and, in the meantime, cut the oranges into quarters and add them to the dissolved water and sugar. Cook for about 10-15 minutes until the oranges are soft. 5 Spoon the cooled and stiff Panna Cotta onto a plate, garnish with oranges and serve.
