Our original spaghetti salad recipe has all of your favorite summertime flavors in one dish. Tomatoes, zucchini, ripe olives, and a zesty Italian dressing come together for a healthy and flavorful salad. This dish can be served as a side or a main course, making it versatile for any menu.
To make our spaghetti salad, you will need:
1 pound spaghetti, cooked
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup Italian dressing
2 cups diced tomatoes
1 cup diced zucchini
1/2 cup sliced ripe olives
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Begin by cooking the spaghetti according to the package directions. Once it is cooked, drain it and rinse with cold water. This will stop the cooking process and help the spaghetti to retain its shape.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti with the olive oil and Italian dressing. Toss to coat the pasta. Then add in the diced tomatoes, zucchini, olives, and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve the salad immediately or store in the refrigerator for a few hours to allow the flavors to blend
